Terms of Use

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you ("you", "user") and Waei Enterprise("we", "us", "our"), a CCTV, surveillance and access control solutions provider based in Chennai, India.

They apply to our website (waeient.com) and our mobile application available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store (together, the "Platform"). Your use of our Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

By accessing or using our Platform, creating an account, or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Platform or services.

You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of forming a legally binding contract under Indian law to use our Platform. By using it, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

Our mobile app uses Google Sign-In for authentication. We do not create or store passwords. When you sign in, you authorise us to receive basic profile information (such as your name and email) from Google.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Google account you use to sign in.
• You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
• You may not share your account or impersonate another person or entity.
• We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised access caused by your failure to safeguard your credentials.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose.
• Interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, networks or other users' accounts.
• Upload viruses, malware or any malicious code.
• Copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile or create derivative works from the app or our content.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or extract data from the Platform.
• Use the Platform or any installed CCTV/surveillance systems to violate the privacy or legal rights of others.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any violation, including suspending or terminating access.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use our mobile app for your personal or internal business purposes.

We may release updates, enhancements or bug fixes from time to time. Some updates may be required for continued use. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any feature of the app at our discretion without liability.

Our mobile app is provided free of charge. We do not process any payments within the app.

Charges for products, installation, services or Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) are handled separately through direct quotations and invoices issued offline. The pricing, payment milestones, refund and cancellation terms for such services will be set out in the relevant quotation or service agreement provided to you at that time.

Where you engage us for CCTV installation, access control or related services, the following apply:

• Quotations are based on the information and site conditions available at the time and may be revised if requirements change.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to install surveillance equipment at the premises and to monitor the areas covered.
• Recorded footage is stored on equipment owned and controlled by you. We do not host or monitor your footage, and you are responsible for its lawful use.
• Product warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers, subject to their terms.

All content on the Platform — including the Waei Enterprise name, logo, trademarks, text, graphics, images, software, app design and source code — is owned by or licensed to Waei Enterprise and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws.

• You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or exploit any content without our prior written permission.
• You may not use our name, logo or trademarks without authorisation.
• Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the Platform or its content.

The Platform integrates with and may link to third-party services such as Google Sign-In, Google Firebase and manufacturer cloud apps (e.g., for remote camera viewing). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, practices or availability of third-party services.

The Platform and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

• We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure.
• Security systems reduce risk but cannot guarantee prevention of theft, intrusion, damage or loss.
• We are not responsible for failures caused by power outages, internet/network issues, third-party platforms, or factors beyond our reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Waei Enterprise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, recordings or footage.
• Theft, burglary, property damage or personal injury occurring despite the presence of security equipment.
• Downtime, service interruptions or failure of cloud/third-party platforms.
• Loss of profits, business or goodwill.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Platform or services shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Waei Enterprise, its directors, employees and partners from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any law or third-party right — including the unlawful use of surveillance equipment.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, without notice, if you breach these Terms or use the Platform unlawfully. You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time.

Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or the law. The "Last updated" date above indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
