The cable in a wired lift camera flexes every time the car moves, and it fails on a schedule. We put the link over the air instead — HD footage out of a moving cabin with nothing running through the shaft, fitted in about two hours per lift with twelve months of AMC included.

The problem
It is not that wired systems record badly. It is that the one part doing the hardest work — a cable bending with every trip — is the part that is guaranteed to fail, and it takes the footage with it.

Everything below is chosen for a cabin: a lens wide enough for the corners, a housing rated for the abuse, and a link that does not care that the room is moving.
A dedicated 2.4 GHz transmitter in the cabin pairs with a receiver fixed at the shaft head. Nothing flexes, so nothing wears out. The band is chosen to sit clear of lift motors and building WiFi.
2MP and 4MP domes with a 180° lens reach every corner of the car, including the panel and the doorway. Built-in IR holds identification quality in a lift with its lights off.
Live view across all your lifts from Android, iOS or desktop through Hik-Connect, gCMOB or iVMS-4500. Cloud P2P, so nobody has to open a port on the building router.
Continuous recording to a dedicated NVR with timeline scrubbing and snapshot export, so a committee can pull the two minutes that matter without watching an afternoon of video.
IK10 impact-rated, IP67 sealed dome housings in a compact body that sits flush with the ceiling trim. Tamper detection flags anything that gets moved or covered.
With no cable to replace, maintenance drops to inspection and cleaning. The first twelve months of that are covered — quarterly visits, firmware and all service labour.

An elevator CCTV engineer walks every shaft, checks cabin size, lighting and shaft-head access, and marks the camera angle, transmitter position and NVR location. No charge, no obligation.
We match resolution, lens angle and brand — Prama, CP Plus or Matrix — to what the survey found, and tell you where spending more changes the footage and where it does not.
Camera and transmitter go into the cabin, the receiver onto the shaft head, and one short fixed run reaches the NVR. Typically under two hours per lift, with the lift still in service.
Recording schedules, retention and motion alerts configured on the NVR, then the app installed and access granted to whichever committee members need it.
